 E3 6 solid sub-frame bushings are designed for track and race cars to remove twisting and flexing of the sub frame where it mounts to the rear floor. This twisting is one of the causes of rear sub frame/floor failure in E3 6 cars. We originally developed these for our SCCA SPEED World Challenge cars. A BMW's sub frame is the heart of the suspension. Because the sub frame is mounted with rubber isolators, when the sub frame moves, so does the rest of the suspension mounting points. As the rubber wears and becomes more pliable, the alignment and suspension settings move even more. Replace the stock rubber bushings to limit drive train and suspension movement and keep your car set up the way its supposed to be. Our mounts are designed using a CAD program with further attention paid to making the mount as light as possible. We also notched the flanges to allow the use of the BMW factory removal tools. One front bushing is slotted to allow for compliance between manufacturing standards as BMW specifies. These bushings are CNC machined out of high grade billet aluminum. Price: 225.95 |
